Our GVHS Jaguar Marching Band had a great outing this past Saturday, October 14th, at the Unionville High School US Bands Competition. Despite the near-constant rainy conditions, the students had one of their best performances yet, and wowed the crowd with our exciting show “Across the Universe”. If you see a band member, please congratulate them on their hard work this season. This year’s band has definitely set a new standard for hard work and commitment.
With their stellar halftime show and exciting hype-up music throughout the football games, we are so appreciative and proud of our dedicated Marching Band!
In addition to our remaining football games, the marching band has two remaining competition performances. On Saturday 10/21, they participated in the Penncrest Band Festival with an excellent performance. Finally, they have the US BANDS State Championship at the J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown on Saturday, November 4th. Good luck marching band and thank you for your constant energy and talent!
