Starbucks is a place of wonders where dreams come true. Whether you like the coffee, the food, the smell, or even just the atmosphere, most can agree that it is a top-tier place (however, I am a little biased considering that I work there.) Before I started, the only thing I ever got there was a caramel frappuccino with soy milk and extra caramel if I was feeling sassy. But ever since I have been working there, I have had the great opportunity to indulge in many of the foods they also offer. Some of which being the cake pops. Without further ado, here is my ranking of said cake pops:
5. The Owl
The Owl is in fifth place because it is quite honestly a letdown. On the outside, it is cute, purple, and delicious looking. I was very excited to try it, thinking it would be similar to the Unicorn. But I was mistaken. It was just nothing special. It is pretty much the same as the Birthday Cake pop, the only difference being its owl appearance. It is basically just a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
4. The Chocolate Cake Pop
This cake pop definitely has its moments, but it is not the best out there. It is great with a black cup of coffee and has a rich, chocolatey flavor. But it’s kind of boring-looking and unexciting.
3. The Birthday Cake Pop
The birthday cake pop is an all-time fan favorite, and I will give credit where credit is due. The birthday cake pop is cute, but that is basically its whole purpose. I don’t have a problem with it, but it deserves 3rd place.
2. The Unicorn Cake Pop
When I first tried the Unicorn Cake Pop, I assumed it to be just another version of the birthday cake, just in a fancy form. But the Unicorn Cake Pop is more than it appears to be. It has little “confetti” pieces inside it that really make it go the extra mile. The design is cute, it’s delicious, what more could you ask for?
1. The Cookies & Cream Cake Pop
This cake pop deserves first place because it combines both the beloved vanilla and chocolate flavor and to top it off, it has chocolate dusting on top. This cake pop always satisfies me and leaves me wanting more. Its appearance is just as beautiful as its taste. Next time you’re at Starbucks, I encourage you to give it a try!
