The Thrill of Concerts

My first concert was in 2008; I saw the Jonas Brothers with my mom and best friend. I would have never guessed that night would impact me so much. I was captivated by the lights and sounds of everyone singing in unison. Ever since then, I have spent my money on seeing any and every artist I can. As my music taste changed, the more artists I wanted to see live. By the time I got my license, my parents knew there was no holding me back. I have gone to Firefly in Dover Downs every year since 2016 and absolutely love it. There is an indescribable feeling shared between people at a concert, all sharing the same appreciation and love for an artist. Meeting new people and hearing music live is such an awesome experience, and nothing compares to it. Over the summer, all of my friends were able to see Khalid. We ended up getting front row and meeting him after the show; it was one of the best nights of my life and being there with all of my friends is a memory I will keep forever. Believe it or not, it is fun to go to concerts with your parents too. Last February, I took my dad to see Kings Of Leon and is was a great show. Being able to share an experience as amazing as a concert with your family or friends is such a cool way to spend time with them and have a memory that will last for years.
