To Garnet Valley High School students,
The Literary Magazine Club at Garnet Valley High School is selling magazines at the price of $5.00 for one in Mrs. Perry’s room A119. Literary magazines are the only print publication available in the school. Pieces of writing or art that are included in the magazines are carefully reviewed and approved entirely by the various student members of the club. The names of the people who submit their artwork or writing remain anonymous during the review process in order to eliminate the possibility of favoritism. Mrs. Perry, the teacher in charge of the club, expressed, “We at the Literary Magazine do our best to ensure that everyone’s submissions are reviewed fairly and entirely based on the quality of the piece, not by personal bias.”
The club starts collecting submissions of all kinds in September, but submissions are continuously accepted throughout the year. Credit is given to authors and artists who submit their work when the magazine becomes published at the end of the year. If you wish to submit your writing or artwork to the Literary Magazine in the future, kindly send it to firstname.lastname@example.org starting in September of 2018.
