  1. Go Ice skating!

Ice Skating is such a fun winter activity! Regardless if you are good at it or not, ice skating can be a great way to get in the Christmas spirit with your friends! It’s also a great way to exercise and get outside. There are many places to go ice skating, but I recommend going to the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink in Philadelphia if you want to do some outdoor ice skating while enjoying the Christmas lights.

  1. Visit Terrain

Terrain is a well-known plant nursery and cafe right here in Glen Mills! Right now they are currently decorated for Christmas, which makes for some cute photoshoot opportunities. Also, they have some seasonal drinks at their cafe that you don’t want to miss!

  1. Go to the movies

If you are looking for something to do that doesn’t require being outside, I would recommend going to the movies. The movies are the perfect place to go when you are looking for something to do but don’t want to do anything exhausting. There are also some Christmas movies out right now!

  1. Visit the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market!

This market located in Philadelphia is the perfect place to go if you want to buy some unique items while supporting small, local businesses! Here you can find all kinds of jewelry, artwork, treats, and so much more!

  1. Go to Longwood Gardens.

Going to Longwood Gardens is a must this Christmas break. The whole area is decorated with lights for Christmas, and there are Christmas trees everywhere you look. Also, you can purchase some one-of-a-kind ornaments from the gift shop. These ornaments make the perfect addition to your tree or serve as the perfect gift!

  1. Have a Christmas Movie Marathon!

Having a Christmas movie marathon is always a fun activity to do around the holidays. There are so many classic movies you can watch that never get old! My personal favorites at Home Alone, Elf, and The Grinch!

  1. Bake Christmas cookies

I don’t think this needs much explanation. I mean… is it even Christmas if you don’t do this?

  1. Go to a Drive Through Show

This is a great option for those who want to see some Christmas lights, but don’t want to freeze in the harsh winter cold! Some light shows offer their radio station for you to listen to as you go through the show so that you can listen to classic Christmas music as you see the lights!

  1. Volunteer

While this might not cross many of our minds, volunteering could be a cool activity to do! We must do the best we can to make everyone feel loved and cared for this Christmas season. You could volunteer at a local shelter, cook meals for people, make Christmas cards for a children’s hospital, visit a nursing home and so much more!

  1. Go snowboarding!

Snowboarding is such a fun winter activity to do! If you have never been before or don’t know how there are lessons available to teach you. It is also a great form of exercise during the winter!
