The Girls Wrestling Club is coming to Garnet Valley this Friday, November 17! Garnet Valley is the home to multiple girls PA state placers, and now all GVMS and GVHS girls are being welcomed to join girls wrestling.
Girls wrestling is the fastest growing high school sport in the country, with over 50,000 participants. Also, did you know that Girls Wrestling is now an official PIAA sport!
This Friday, November 17 from 6-7:30 p.m., middle school and high school athletes are invited to an open room practice in the wrestling room. At this “try it night,” girls will work on strength and conditioning, personal growth, and friendship!
If you enjoy the first “try it night,” there are many other dates available for the open gym. These dates, as of now, include 12/08, 12/15, 1/12, 1/19, 2/02, 2/09, and 2/16! The time for all of these dates is 6-7:30 p.m. in the wrestling gym!
All you need to bring to this fun is a water bottle, athletic clothes, and a great spirit! Don’t stress about bringing wrestling shoes or headgear because they are not needed for this open gym night.
