We are down to just four teams in the Champions League. Two team both from Milan, one from Madrid, and one from Manchester have all made it this far. The Champions League final will take place on June 10, 2023, 3:oo pm EST, now let’s just get into the first game.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City (May 9/17):

Real Madrid got the win over Chelsea in the quarter finals, 4-0 on aggregate. Manchester City had similar success, winning 4-1 on aggregate against the German side, Bayern Munich. This semi-final is a rematch from last year, on that occasion Real Madrid came out on top thanks to some last minute heroics to send the game to extra time. While Real Madrid are the reigning champions and have been great in the UCL this season. There have been times where we have seen them falter significantly domestically. In addition to this, compared to last season, Manchester City have a brand new weapon who can absolutely tear any team into shreds. That weapon is the Norweigan, Erling Haaland. He is currentely the top scorer in the Champions League this season with 12 goals (5 of those goals coming in one game!) and is also the top scorer in the Premier League. While Real Madrid have been able to consistently achieve success in the Champions League and find a way to win, this time I think Manchester City will get their revenge. Prediction: Manchester City defeat Real Madrid, Haaland scores a hatrick in Madrid

AC Milan vs Inter Milan (May 10/16):

Both AC Milan and Inter Milan faced two very hot teams in the quarter finals. AC Milan faced Napoli who had been playing great and were first in the Serie A by a wide margin. While Inter Milan played the Portugese side, Benfica, who had also been having great success, topped a UCL group with PSG and Juventus. Personally, I predicted both AC Milan and Inter Milan to lose in the quarter finals and was quite surprised when both of them emerged victorious. So now we have a Milan derby in the semi finals. So let’s take a look at what separates these two sides. AC Milan is currently 4th in Serie A, while Inter Milan is 6th, but the difference isn’t all that large as Inter is only 2 points behind. If you look at recent results Inter has one 3 out of the last 4 games against AC Milan. If I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think there is a clear favorite in this game, and this one will probably be a close one. Prediction: AC Milan return to their old glory days and narrowly edge out Inter Milan
