Come Out to GVHS SpeakUp!

On the behalf of the Garnet Valley SpeakUp team, we’d like to invite you to come to our SpeakUp event on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 at 7:00 pm!

What is it?

• SpeakUp! is a youth-driven, interactive program that brings youth, educators and parents together for real dialogue on the topics that they want to talk about. Students have a chance to tell parents and educators what they can do to make it more likely they will talk honestly to them and listen.
• An opportunity to help parents understand what is going on in the lives of many Garnet Valley students; Family members are never in the same breakout session, so it is important to bring your parents if possible so the sessions work out evenly without worry that they will hear what you say in your session.

We know all teenagers struggle with something at some point and no matter what the problem is, the solution always begins with speaking up and asking for help. The conversation is always different and the results show the greatest impact for repeat participants!

We are proud to be a SpeakUp! school and we hope you can join us for this unique experience.
