Indoor Colorguard 2019

You’ve heard about Indoor Drumline starting, but the indoor colorguard season is starting as well! This year, there will be a difference in how the colorguard is running its indoor season. There will not be a middle school guard anymore, and neither will run in the intermediate class as the high school guard was last year. Instead, there will be two different high school colorguards: a novice-class junior varsity guard called Garnet Valley Regional, and an A class varsity colorguard called Garnet Valley A. The regional guard will practice on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and the A class guard will practice on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting next week!

The regional show is called A Million Dreams and is set to the Pink cover of the Greatest Showman song. It features Garnet Valley students from grades 6-12!
The A class show is called 3019 and is based on a group of people time-traveling to a year 1000 years in the future. It will feature students from grades 9-12.
Another exciting fact is that the Chapter championships will be hosted at home this year! For the first time, Garnet Valley is hosting the championships before the indoor programs go off to the regional championships in Wildwood. It will be in the gym on April 27th. Come out and see the guard’s shows this season!
