As winter fades away and the first signs of spring start to appear, many people find themselves inspired to do some deep cleaning. This annual ritual known as spring cleaning is a great opportunity to get your home in order and refresh your living space. But did you know that spring cleaning could improve your mental health?

Clutter can be a significant source of stress. When your home is cluttered it can be hard to relax and unwind. Once your space is clean you can focus on the things that matter to you like spending time with family and friends.

Before you get started you should take some time to create a plan of attack. Decide which areas of your home you want to focus on and make a list of the tasks you need to complete in each area. Don’t try to tackle your entire home in one day. Instead, start small and focus on one room or area at a time. This can help prevent you from becoming overwhelmed and make the task at hand more manageable.

By making a plan, starting small, getting rid of clutter, and getting help if you need it can make your home cleaner and you more relaxed.
