Looking for a new sitcom to binge? Here are five sitcoms on Netflix that I would recommend:

5. The Upshaws

The first sitcom I would recommend is “The Upshaws.” This sitcom is about a working-class family of African Americans who go through funny situations in their life. The show features Kim Fields, Wanda Sykes, Mike Epps, and many other actors and actresses. The show was made in 2021, has 4 seasons, is rated TV-14, and has 67% rotten tomatoes. Another sitcom that is just like “The Upshaws” is “Family Reunion,” so if this sounds interesting, but you would prefer a PG version, “Family Reunion” could be right for you.

4. Kim’s Convenience

The second sitcom I would recommend is “Kim’s Convenience.” This sitcom is about a Korean-Canadian family running a convenience store while dealing with customers, their lives, and each other. The show features Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Simu Liu, Andrew Phung, and many other funny cast members. The show was made in 2016, has 5 seasons, is rated TV-MA, and has 100% rotten tomatoes.

3. Seinfeld

The next sitcom I would recommend is “Seinfeld.” This sitcom is about four single friends dealing with the absurdities of everyday life in New York. The show features Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis- Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and many more people. The show was made in 1989, has 9 seasons, is rated TV-14, and has 89% rotten tomatoes.

2. The Good Place

Another sitcom I would recommend is “The Good Place.” This sitcom is about a character named Eleanor who finds herself in the afterlife, she’s both relieved and surprised that she made it to the Good Place, but soon figures out that she doesn’t belong there and that she was put there by mistake.  The show features Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper, Kristen Bell and many more hilarious actors and actresses. The show was made in 2016, has 4 seasons, is rated TV-14 and has 97% rotten tomatoes.

  1. Community

The final sitcom I would definitely recommend is “Community.” This sitcom is about a group of people from all different backgrounds living through funny situations together in their Spanish study group at Greendale Community College. The show features Joel McHale, Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), Ken Jeong and many other actors and actresses. The show was made in 2009, has 6 seasons, is rated TV-14, and has 88% rotten tomatoes.

I would definitely recommend checking out all of these sitcoms. They’re all great in their own way!
