What do you know about the civil war?
It is that time of the year again Garnet Valley! Many eleventh grade AP US history students are busy doing research for their American Civil War paper. Every year the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History holds a contest open to both middle schoolers (6-8) and high schoolers (9-12). The contest is held to enhance students’ knowledge of the Civil war. It may seem close to impossible to place in a competition such as this but, I have great news! Last year, Garnet Valley’s very own Catherine Cai received first place and was rewarded with a ceremony in New York City.
