10/10 in my opinion. Take your family, go to the movie theater, and WATCH THIS MOVIE. Arthur the King was a very touching and honestly wonderful movie, practically bringing me to tears. To my surprise, this was based on a real-life story and I find it heart-warming that they made this come to life. 435 miles. 10 days. 1 unbreakable bond. Michael Light, a former racer in the Adventure Racing World Championship, gets a team together for his last hope to win. As the team treks and bikes in the rough terrain and forests of the Dominican Republic, they meet a stray dog who joins them on this enduring journey. Starting with a simple meatball, this new member of the team truly redefined friendship, loyalty, and victory. Starring well-known actors like Mark Wahlberg and Simu Liu, the characters are very likable and their journey is super fun to watch. This film can be enjoyed with family and friends no matter what age you are!

Spoilers! As soon as you are finished with the movie, hop back on Google and explore more about it! There are countless articles that share how the movie came to be and knowing the backstory only makes the film itself 1000 times better. My favorite part in learning about this story is knowing that the love never stops; in 2014 Mikael founded the Arthur Foundation to give more rights to wild dogs in Ecuador. Here are some articles you can check out to learn more!
