Midterm Season Dodged

As we enter the third quarter, everyone’s grades are about to wrap up. With last week being full of snow days, and miraculous timing, by the way, a few things ended up mixing up our schedules. Monday was Martin Luther King Day and many students were diligently studying for the midterm exams that were to happen in the next few days.

When Tuesday came, everyone was ready to start the week of midterms. That’s when we all got that email that said exactly what we were hoping to hear! Snow day! The same ended up happening on Wednesday too!

The school saw that we were missing all full days with only our half days left and decided it was best to do something that nobody expected but everyone wanted. All midterms were canceled! At first, a lot of people were very happy. But then people realized that all the studying that had been done on the snow days instead of enjoying them was all in vain. Many people dread but need the midterms as it acts as almost a checkpoint in their hard classes.

Overall, the snow acted as our savior last week and we all studied for something that ended up being canceled. We can still use everything we reviewed to help us on the final. In a way, we did get that checkpoint.
