Garnet Valley High School is proud to recognize student recipients of the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the nation’s longest-running and most distinguished program honoring creative excellence in visual art and writing for students in grades 7–12.

This year, Garnet Valley High School students earned honors at multiple levels of competition, reflecting exceptional talent, originality, and technical skill. Gold Key Awards, the highest distinction in the Scholastic program, represent national-level recognition, with student work advancing to national adjudication and honorees invited to celebrate their achievement at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Silver Key Awards signify outstanding regional achievement, with recipients honored at a regional ceremony hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. Honorable Mentions recognize exemplary student work at the regional level and are celebrated through national online exhibitions at artandwriting.org.

These accomplishments place Garnet Valley High School students among the most accomplished young artists and writers in the region and the nation and reflect the strength of the school’s academic and arts programs.
