Robotics club started off their Valentine's Day early with both sister teams, 3795 Jag-Wired and 5440 Blazin' Circuits, departing the school at 7AM to make their way to the FTC Eastern PA Qualifier. Before a full day of competition with over 5 matches per team, they've has spent that past few weeks tirelessly preparing. From CADing various components, assembling the robot, testing code, preparing scripts for judging, designing poster boards, and perfecting the portfolios, both teams have spent hours outside of school to prepare for this very moment.

After showcasing impressive performances, 3795 Jag-Wired won the Sustainibility Award. Judges praised their thoughtful development plan, innovative fundraising efforts like Krispy Kreme donut sales, and Friendsgiving events that built strong connections between new members and alumni.

Following the final few matches, the Robotics Club was elated to find out that 3795 Jag-Wired will be advancing to the Pennsylvania FTC Championship on March 14-15. The first first time since 2019! What was once a dream was now possible and the Robotics Club is very thankful for all the sponsors that powered their success including Gene Haas Foundation, Southco Inc., Team Toyota of Glen Mills, Dragon Martial Arts, Mathnasium, Polymaker, GoBilda, and Brandywine Cleaners. After a quick stop at Wawa to celebrate, the team went home already planning the next steps as the state championship approaches.

As Head of Management and Finance for the Robotics club, I make it my priority to document our success during the competition and I can't even begin to say how proud I am of both of our teams. Having started as a freshman and now being a senior, I've seen first-hand the transformation we've gone through, both visible and the things that are naked to the eye. Since we've rebranded to a Sully theme with our blue and purple colors in 2024, we continued to seek improvement. Our robots have style but are also efficient and created by a team who has invested sweat and tears. Although this is the seniors' last qualifier, we're excited about the future of our team!
