The Philadelphia Phillies are currently in preseason play as part of spring training in Clearwater, Florida. The team practices and plays exhibition games at BayCare Ballpark while preparing for the upcoming regular season.
The Phillies enter the 2026 season with high expectations after making the postseason four years in a row, and much of the roster remains the same heading into this season. Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, and Kyle Schwarber are expected to continue leading the team’s offense.
Top pitching prospect Andrew Painter has impressed early in spring training and could earn a role in the starting rotation. Meanwhile, veteran pitcher Zack Wheeler is recovering from surgery and may not return until around early May, though he has been in bullpen sessions.
The Phillies will continue playing training games before the 2026 regular season begins on Thursday, March 26.
