Garnet Valley High School is excited to host a Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 19th, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the small gym. This event is a great opportunity for students and staff to come together, give back, and make a positive impact in the community.
All donors must sign up in advance by scanning the QR codes found on flyers on the TV’s and social media pages of Student Council and Red Cross. Students who are 16 years old may donate with a signed permission slip, while those 17–18 years old will have their birth date checked at the door.
To ensure a smooth experience, donors are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast, drink plenty of water, and get a good night’s sleep before donating. Afterward, participants will need to relax, enjoy free snacks and juice for at least 15 minutes, and feel good knowing they helped save up to THREE lives.
As an added bonus, every donor will receive a $20 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice from a list as a thank-you from the Red Cross. The GVHS Blood Drive is an easy and rewarding way to help others while showing school spirit and community dedication.
