Congratulations to our GVHS Speech & Debate team for their amazing accomplishments at the William Tennent Invitational that took place this weekend on November 1st!
Alongside their amazing faculty advisor Mrs. Gardner, our 22 Garnet Valley competitors came to William Tennent High School to represent the team across multiple events. A big shout out goes to all of the judges who volunteered their time to make this tournament possible: Mr. Singh, Ms. Cherian, Ms. Kumar, Mr. Narasingolu, Ms. Liao, Mr. Raman, Mr. Grant, Ms. Dhariwal, and Mr. Vulupala Reddy.

Trisha Srivastava (Debate President!) — 2nd Place, Congressional Debate (Varsity)
Aneesha Chennareddy — 2nd Place, Informative Speech
Gita Uparkar — 3rd Place, Extemporaneous Speaking (Varsity)
Shrisha Gowtham Srinivas — Semifinalist, Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate

Saharsh Narasingolu (VP) & Ameya Singh — 1st Place, Duo Improvisation
Snigdha Chillar & Shubun Aggrawal — 2nd Place, Duo Improvisation
And best of all, GV earned 3rd place overall in Debate Sweepstakes!
This is only the start of the season for the Speech & Debate team; they're now gearing up for the Bucks County Invitational, Villiger at St. Joseph’s, Princeton Classic, and La Salle Forum Invitational!
