On Saturday, March 7th, the Garnet Valley Indoor Drumline traveled to their first competition at Cumberland Regional High School in Upper Deerfield, NJ. After an excellent performance, they placed 2nd in their division!

Indoor drumline competitions typically feature ensembles performing choreographed percussion shows that combine music, movement, and special effects. Groups are judged on timing, technique, and overall performance.

This year’s show is “Hexed,” and follows a coven of witches as they cast a spell on the audience. The show features intense percussion parts and visuals that help bring the witch theme to life. 

The drumline will continue their season on Saturday, March 21, at Perkiomen Valley High School!
