On Saturday, September 13th, the Kimmel Center hosted its 5th annual Philadelphia Fall Arts Festival, featuring music, theater, dance, and a variety of fun activities. The free event welcomed the public and gave them the opportunity to see shows, make crafts, and meet local art groups.

This year, GVHS’s Drama Club was part of the action! Kali Brewer and I had the chance to perform with other high schoolers to promote the national tour of The Sound of Music. Along with that, we got to share the stage with Jill-Christine Wiley, a former “Maria” from the tour! All around the Kimmel Center, there were performances from groups like The Philadelphia Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, BalletX, and more! Kali and I had the best time and hope to return again next year!
