On Friday, May 23rd, GV seniors celebrated their last few moments of high school making unforgettable memories at Senior Prom. Following a night of dancing and photos, students transitioned to Post Prom, a safe, school-sponsored afterparty filled with fun, food, and surprises. Even the community is invited to admire the stunning decorations in the evening before the students arrive. As a student, I want to give a big thank you to the administration and parents for their effort and dedication in making this an incredible night. The event offered something for everyone:

  • Great food and coffee stations
  • Bouncy houses and inflatable games
  • Beautifully decorated venue with a nostalgic childhood theme
  • A crowd-favorite hypnotist
  • And so much more!

Senior Phoenix Lloyd shared, “I personally loved the theme and thought it was really creative and was very cohesive with our float theme giving us an overall message of not wanting to grow up which we could all really connect with.” Many survey respondents echoed similar sentiments. Ethan Yang appreciated spending time with his friends and loved the excitement on the dance floor. Crowdsurfing was one of Alton Chung’s favorite moments but the best moment—as shared by nearly every respondent—was the hypnotist. With the stories shared among the students, you certainly would have wished you saw it all.

The night was packed with moments to cherish, from hanging with best friends one last time to laughing uncontrollably at the hypnotist’s antics. Garnet Valley’s Class of 2025 certainly ended their high school journey on a high note.
