This summer, the Garnet Valley Performing Arts Association is excited to welcome students to our Nineteenth Annual Summer Performing Arts Camp, taking place June 15–19, 2026, at the Garnet Valley High School Auditorium. Camp runs daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a final performance for families on Friday at 12:00 PM. Daily drop-off and pick-up will take place at the back entrance of the high school.
The camp is open to all students entering Kindergarten through Grade 12 from Garnet Valley and the surrounding school districts. Throughout the week, campers rotate through acting, singing, and choreography, building skills, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive and inclusive environment. No prior performing arts experience is required.
Our 2026 camp theme is “We All Belong.” Campers will explore what it means to feel welcomed, valued, and supported through music, movement, and storytelling. The stage becomes a place where every voice matters and every student has a role. Song selections reflect this theme of inclusion and unity and include age-appropriate musical theater favorites and ensemble pieces from shows such as Honk! Jr., Come From Away, SpongeBob the Musical, The Lion King, and Sesame Street.
Students entering Grades 7–12 may also participate in an optional Audition Workshop on Tuesday from 2:00–2:30 PM, led by Mrs. Heather Arters. This workshop is designed for students who are curious about auditions or would like to strengthen their skills in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
The camp tuition is $325, with a discounted rate of $225 available for school district employees, children of volunteers who have given 20 hours of service to the Garnet Valley High School Drama Club this year, and for the third sibling and any additional siblings in a family. Partial scholarships are available for families who may need financial assistance, as we are committed to making camp accessible to all students.
