This previous Friday, 9/15, the class of 2027 chose their officers for the 23-24 school year. The elected officers are Teagan Moyer for president, Mia Gardener for vice president, Rohan Singh for secretary, Charlie Czerwinski for treasurer, and Haley Steele for historian.
There were a total of 4 runners for president, Teagan Moyer, Joe Hally, Hayden Xanthopoulos, and Cole Williams. As for the VP, many students were running together. Mia Gardener was running alongside Moyer, Grayson Golek was running alongside Hally, and Owen Burns was running alongside Xanthopoulos. Addi Cooper was running for the solo position of VP. Secretary was a close run, as Singh brought home the medal, Karlee Dwyer was close behind. Other people running for this position consisted of Chris Antonouli and Ahyaan Shaikh. Four students participated in the runnings for treasurer, Czerwinski, Saanvi Akurati, Lukas Hart, and Rohit Rajagopalan. Lastly the historian position had a total of three runners, Steele winning overall along with Julia DiPadova and Joshitha Gudipati.
In conclusion there was no bad choice for any of these positions. The whole school can agree that any of these candidates would do an amazing job. We would love to congratulate the class of 2027 official officers for the 23-24 season!
