Girls cheerleading took home yet another District I championship trophy for the second year in a row. On Saturday, 37 teams gathered at Central Bucks High School South to compete for their division title.

Garnet Valley competed in the 3A small varsity division and had an overall score of 85.40, placing them in first place.

Last January, the girls also took home gold in the 3A small division and qualified for the PIAA cheer championships in Hershey, PA, where they claimed victory in the finals and became 3A PIAA State Champions for the second time since their run in 2019.

The Jags also remained at the top of the Central League bracket, making them league champions yet again, for the second year in a row.

With both a Central League and a District I title, hopefully, the Jags will complete the sweep during the PIAA Championships to bring home the medals and yet another trophy for the school’s case.

The PIAA State Championships will take place on January 27th and 28th in Hershey, PA.
