Dinner and a Show has been a long tradition run by the Garnet Valley Interact Club and will get to happen this Saturday! Dinner and a Show is a special event created for the senior citizens of Maris Grove. The Garnet Valley Interact is a club dedicated to helping the community by volunteering for many different events. The area seniors enjoy a lunch served by our Interact students and are then led to watch the Saturday matinee. As many of you know, the fall show is the Addams Family! Our guests will receive a nice meal and will get to talk to students all the while, Mrs. Arters along with members of the GV Performing Arts Club will also come in and entertain them with live music. I would like to thank Mr. Layman, an advisor of Interact Club, who was able to share all this information about the event. Mr. Layman also mentioned, “This is the first time that we have run this event since the pandemic struck in 2019, so we are really looking forward to reviving this opportunity to share some intergenerational community time.” I’m sure all of us can agree that we’re more than happy to bring Dinner and a Show back to the community!
