It might not be Halloween yet, but before you know it, the holidays will be here. Christmas means presents, and so do birthdays! The question is, what will I get? Some people prefer getting a gift in a bag or maybe wrapped in colorful paper. Others like to get a simple gift card to their favorite store. I have asked some people from our school about their take on what they like and why. Here are the results:
Gift: Lots of people stated that they prefer receiving a gift because it shows someone put in time and effort. There is also more emotion and it shows that someone thought of that person.
Gift Card: What repeated the most as a response is, you can use it for whatever you like!
So as the festivities of holidays and birthdays come, think about what a person might want! Do they want something practical, useful, and simple? Or do they want a personal and unique gift created just for them?
