If you are looking for a fun club to join at the high school, consider joining Asian Culture Club! Our school is a diverse place, with various religions, languages, races, and cultures. If you’re interested in learning or partaking in several aspects of Asian culture, then this is the club for you! Vice president of the club, Rathna Reddy, says that “ACC is a great club to learn about many cultures, hear about fellow Asian students’ experiences, and try new foods!”. Mihika Patel, the public relations officer for the club, says that “I really like how the members have formed a community through our club. It’s fun to participate in different cultural activities like Garba and origami, and host potlucks to try foods from all around Asia. I love teaching people about my culture and learning about the traditions of others!”
Other officers of the club are president Nimisha Mikkineni, secretary Danny Lam, and treasurer Dan Lin. ACC has a Remind, which you can join with the code @curry-rice, and they have an Instagram which you can follow @gvhsasiancultureclub!
