You may have noticed a new software update if you have an Apple iPhone. This iOS 16 update has many new features. Let’s review the pros and cons.
Pros:
- More customization options on the home screen and lock screen
- Widgets can be added in more spots
- You can screen share on Facetime
- Parts of photos can be copied and pasted into messages
- Your lock screen can shuffle to different images in the camera roll
- You can delete and edit text messages
- Can make more specific focuses and switch from them easily
Cons:
- Notifications pop up at the bottom of the screen, making it more likely to miss a message
- Battery drains significantly faster than before
- Only newer iPhones can complete the update (iPhone 8 and beyond)
- There is a search button on the home screen that many people often click on by accident
- Some users say they have experienced glitching since updating
