The Garnet Valley High School Marching Band is a group of young musicians who work together to create a show which they play during half-time at football games, along with different stand tunes they play throughout the game. The marching band also competes against different bands across the world. When The Garnet Valley High School Marching Band plays at the halftime show, you will lose yourself to the amazing sound that was developed over weeks of hard work. To get to this level of excellence, the marching band has rigorous practices prior to and during the summer. While most teens were at the beach, these dedicated musicians were out in the sun, learning their drills and how to play the perfect show. Band Camp started on August 15th and went from 2 pm to 9:30 pm every weekday. During this time, the band learned their music and choreography. During the school year, regular practices are held Monday and Wednesday from 6 pm to 9 pm., with halftime performances every Friday night during football games.
