For anyone interested in joining the GVHS Marching Band next year, check out the Marching Band Kick-Off event on Monday, June 6th from 6-8 PM. At this event, the show for 2022-2023 will be revealed as well as the new student leaders for the upcoming school year! Both new and returning members will receive the new sheet music to take home and will also get the chance to talk with their new sections. The event will be hosted in the GVHS Band Room.
For students who are considering joining, this is a great opportunity to check out our marching band! This is an event that doesn’t require commitment or instruments, so it’s low pressure. For incoming freshman grade members, this will be your first “official” band event as 9th-grade band members, and a chance to get to know the community.
For anybody on the fence when it comes to joining the GVHS band, the https://www.gvhsmusic.org/joinband website is there to reference when it comes to different programs and opportunities. For all returning band members, June 6th will serve as the uniform return date. So if you are a returning student, please bring your uniform items ready for return.
