GV Students Compete in Pennsylvania’s 5th Congressional Art Competition

Sunday, May 15, 2022, an art exhibition was held at the Congresswoman’s offices to display the art from this year’s Congressional Art Competition. Several Garnet Valley students were recognized with awards at the exhibit. The competition is meant to recognize high school students who created exceptional 2D artwork in PA’s 5th congressional district. The Garnet Valley participants were Echo Chappelle, Renne Chauncey, Talia DiClemente, Gianna Gaster, Ari Jacobs, Marina Kondo, Hayden Monroe, and Maryn Phillips.

Talia DiClemente – 1st place, Mixed Media

Gianna Gaster – 3rd place, Mixed Media

Marina Kondo – 2nd place, Painting

Hayden Monroe – 2nd place, Drawing

Maryn Phillips – 2nd place, Mixed Media
