Top Ten Winter Activities

10. Playing in the snow/snowball fights.

There’s nothing like getting the phone call for a snow day and then going out and playing in the snow. You can do so many things like a snowball fight or make snow angels and have a terrific time.

9. Make a snowman

Something we all did as a child was make a snowman. They’re fun and easy to make and you will probably enjoy yourself in the process of making the snowman.

8. Building a snow fort.

It is always important to have a solid fort built before you have a snowball fight with your friends. Making one is kind of like making a snow castle, it’s lots of fun and you are sure to have a good time.

7. Watching the snow fall.

This one is a little underrated. Snow is a beautiful thing and watching the snowflakes fall as they hit the ground is always so peaceful to watch. It’s even better with a hot chocolate by your side.

6. Snowboarding

This seems really fun and I’ve always wanted to try it. Going down a hill at high speeds while standing sounds like a good time.

5. Tubing

Tubing is when the speed gets real. Tubes can go extremely fast, and if your feeling the need for speed this is definitely the activity for you.

4. Ice skating

Ice skating may be scary and hard to get a grip of at first, but once you get the hang of it you’ll have a good time out on the rink.

3. Riding a snowmobile

I’ve never done this before, but it looks super fun. I’ve gone jet skiing before which was a great experience, so I’m sure this would be just as fun.

2. Skiing

I have never been skiing but it’s something I’ve always wanted to learn how to do. The whole idea of going up in the mountains, flying down the slopes and riding up a ski lift sounds like such a good time.

1. Sledding

Sledding is by far my favorite winter activity. It’s easy to learn, you can do it anywhere, and gaining some serious speed is always an excitement.
