For the fifth year in a row, The Garnet Valley cheer team has won the District One 3A Championship. They continue their success this year having won the Central League Championship this year as well. They have certainly made a reputation for themselves as one of the best cheer teams in the state of Pennsylvania. The program that Head Cheer Coach Lisa Garman and her staff have built over the last ten years has been noticed by all Garnet Valley athletes, coaches, and fans. This team also for the first time in their history has a cheerleader going for acrobatics and tumbling in Avery Malek who has committed to Quinnipiac University as well as Gina McGee who is going to the University of Delaware for cheerleading. This team is led by captains Haley Blake, Avery Malek, and Gina McGee. They have preformed extraordinarily well after coming off of a year where all sports were heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Their next journey is to states where they won for the first time in 2019. They look to reclaim that title this year. This team always competes and they look to continue their streak of winning competitions they have had this year in Hershey.
