On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, Netflix released the second season of the very popular show Cheer!
The docu-series follows Monica Aldama as she coaches the extremely coveted Cheer team, Navarro. The team is located in Corsicana, Texas, and is a community college. Many of the students there are athletes, but cheer is what the school is most known for over all of the other sports. Regardless of their intelligence, students from all around the country come to Navarro, hoping to make it on the cheerleading team and become national champions.
After the show’s first season aired on Netflix, the media was all over them. The first episode of season two revealed the constant interviews that Monica and the main cast members (Gabby Butler, Lexi Brumback, Morgan Simianer) had to fit into their schedules after the show’s release.
