After the release of “Red (Taylor’s Version)” on November 12, 2021, there has been much speculation about what album the artist will be releasing next. Fans are attempting to decipher Swift’s “clues” that they believe suggest which album will be released next, 1989 (Taylor’s Version)” or “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”.
Supporters of the notion that “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” is the next album to be released have pointed out that the guitar Taylor is playing in her I Bet You Think About Me music video resembles the guitar she played during the Speak Now world tour. The price of the limited edition “Red (Taylor’s Version)” is also $20.10, which fans believe is another hint because of the release date of “Speak Now”, which is October 25, 2010.
On the other hand, fans who believe “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is the next album to release have noticed that the car in the “Red (Taylor’s Version)” teaser was released in 1989. The seagulls on the cake in the I Bet You Think About Me”music video is also believed to be an allusion to the 1989 album cover.
While there isn’t much conclusive evidence as to which album will be released next, it’s safe to assume that we will be receiving a new Taylor’s Version album in the near future.
