The Garnet Valley Jaguars on the winter track return to indoor competition after two years. They look stronger than ever and will have a great season.

Across every event, Garnet Valley has someone to score points.

In sprints, the boys have seniors Collin Johnson & Farhan Riaz, and juniors TJ Foltz & Bryson Hall. On the girls’ side, the short distances will be covered by seniors Steph Roberts & Alyssa Wert, and junior Anna Archer.

Mid-distance will miss one of the greatest athletes in Garnet Valley history, Eric Albright (now running track at Maryland), but standout junior Ritvick Anumandla will take the lead with Albright graduated. The girls are backed by senior Veronica Fillipone.

Long-distance has an abundance of talent, with seniors Ryle Mellinger, Jack Pelczar, Jimmy Pinkow, & Dom DiLuzio, junior David Stango, and promising sophomore Michael Colavito, who qualified for cross country state championships earlier this year, the only GV runner to do so this fall. The girls are led by seniors Ashleigh Lustgarten, junior Ashley Burkett, and sophomore Rosie Incorvaia, who all had a great cross country season.

In boys hurdles, senior Colin Simmons will lead the way. The girls have a star duo in senior Maddy Stango and junior Anna Saboja, who both qualified for outdoor District Championships this past spring.

Jumps are backed by Colin Simmons and sophomore Ben Mellinger.

Yes, we have a pole vaulter. Junior Marina Kondo will take on the scarcely taken event.

Throws will be thrown by juniors David Iovaccini & Jake McDowell and sophomores Chris Pettineo & Nick Scamuffa. The girls have senior Rachel Sokalsky and juniors Maddy Snelgrove and Abby Houbt.

The first meet for the boys is Tuesday, December 14th, at Downingtown West High School. GO JAGS!!!
