The Garnet Valley Swim & Dive Team is looking in great shape coming off of a season filled with many obstacles and hurdles. They will soon be starting competitions as both the boys and girls teams will be competing at Harriton against the Rams tomorrow afternoon. This should be a very interesting and fun season for this team. Lets get into how both these teams will shape up . . .
The swim & dive team for the boys will be very good. Even thought they lost Jack Hooper and Matt Hurford, they have plenty of good swimmers waiting in the wings. Senior swimmers Shashank Gudipadi, Dylan Laskos, Patrick Li, and Lukas Olsen will lead this team this upcoming year. They were all instrumental on their relay teams last year and look continue their success this upcoming year.
On the girls team, they lost great swimmers Catherine Weaverling and Amy Townend. However, they too have a lot of great swimmers ready to take on the challenge as well. Hallie Milligan, Mackenzie Butler, and Sam Loan will lead the girls group on the swim & dive Jags. They made a lot of noise last year at the Central League Championships and they are looking very good as well.
