The 2021-22 Garnet Valley Jaguars Basketball team is set for a new age of hoops. With their first “normal” year since the 2019 season and fans back in the gym at full capacity, Garnet Valley is ready to take the court.

It’s no secret that the Jags will miss one of their best players in program history, point guard Carl Schaller (now at Gettysburg) along with other graduated seniors Justin Langan and Gannon McKee, but 2022 brings talent at all ends of the court and GV will for sure make a run for a repeat Central League title.

Leading the way, junior Max Koehler will look to pick up where Schaller left off with point guard duties. He will be helped by junior forwards Ryan Faccenda and Logan McKee, along with seniors Nolan Brennan and sharpshooter Ryan Wooten. Sophomore Jack Krautzel and freshman Jake Sniras are the only players in their grade on varsity but both are very talented players who will make great contributions despite their age.

The Jaguars make their debut on Friday, December 10th at home against Cardinal O’Hara. GO JAGS!!!
