The Garnet Valley Jaguars’ incredible season finally came to an end last Saturday against Saint Joe’s Prep. It was a battle between the homegrown and the handpicked, and it finally took a private school to take down the Jags.

Both defenses made multiple stops to start the game, but Prep eventually got going to jump out to a 21-0 lead. The score was 35-7 at the half, and the game ended in a final score of 49-13.

Sophomore Prep QB Samaj Jones had an amazing game, throwing for 3 touchdowns and running for 4.
The Jags had some sparks on the night, including an absolute Moss over a Prep defender by Ndozi Okolo for a 39-yard touchdown and a 29-yard touchdown run by sophomore Trevor Saccomandi, showing that Garnet Valley is in good hands for the future.

Saint Joe’s will move on to the PIAA Class 6A State Championship against number one ranked Mt. Lebanon.
Thank you Garnet Valley Football for an amazing season.
