- Fresh Flowers
A flower is pretty on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside. I love flowers because they remind me of happy times. Flowers come out in the spring after a cold winter to remind us of the beauty of nature. People give flowers to others on special occasions to represent love. Little children run out into their backyard to pick flowers for their mothers. Every flower has a different meaning to each person and they all look different but they are all beautiful in their own way.
- A Warm Mug
Ahhh. There is nothing like that first sip of coffee in the morning, or the comforting taste of hot chocolate while I sit by the fire, or the comforting taste of tea as I read a book in bed. I can feel the warmth of the drink run through my veins as my hands perfectly cover the white mug.
- Fresh snow
Waking up in the morning to a fresh snowfall is one of my favorite moments. As a child, I loved the snow because it meant a day off from school. I love the snow now because it perfectly falls on each tree, house, car, jacket, etc.
- The Lumineers Music
The Lumineers music is so simple but there are so many messages hidden deep into the songs. Every song tells a story and each lyric is carefully written. Their folk music makes me feel at home and I love the sounds of all of the instruments playing together.
- Seeing my dog for the first time in the morning
The first place I go in the morning is to my parents room to see my dog. He is usually wrapped in a little ball and his tail begins to rapidly wag as soon as I walk in. He stretches and then comes up to me and gives me kisses all over my face.
- Sunsets
Sunsets are the perfect end to each day. The colors of pinks, purple, blue, orange, yellow paint the sky in beauty. Sunsets remind us that at the end of the day, the world is so beautiful.
- Pride and Prejudice Movie
I have never been a person that is interested in classics. I mostly think of classics as boring and hard to understand. However, Pride and Prejudice proved to be the opposite of my expectations. The emotions in the movie and the scenes in the movie all made me want to be Elizabeth Bennet in the 19th century.
- Stars in the sky
Every person in the world is so different, but we all share something, the sky. There is nothing more beautiful than walking outside in the dark of night to see the sparkling stars shimmer. The sky makes everything seem so small and takes all of my worries, nerves, and fears away.
- Walks on the beach
There is nothing better than feeling sand swift in between your toes as you take a walk on the beach. The sand is met with the crashes of the waves in the ocean that make us feel like everything is alright in the world. As you walk on the beach, you then look up to the sky and see a beautiful masterpiece of airplanes fly along a clear blue sky.
- Vanilla perfume
My favorite smell in the whole world is vanilla. There is no scent that is more comforting, yet sweet. The smell of vanilla reminds me of myself: it can be reserved, yet outgoing. Sweet, yet powerful. Warm, yet bold.
