Model UN, or Model United Nations, is a club that revolves around—you guessed it—United Nations. The purpose of the club is to simulate what a real Model UN conference or discussion would look like. Students take on the role of different countries and compete in committees in the UN such as NATO, Security Council, etc.
Model UN allows for the opportunity to learn about real-world issues and is good for any student who wants to learn about current issues while in a competitive environment.
The club meets every other Tuesday during first learn in Miss. Brady’s Lunch and Learn. If you are interested in joining, please contact Kushagra Gupta (email@example.com), the club president, or Miss. Brady (firstname.lastname@example.org), the club advisor.
