Both the boys and girls track teams for Garnet Valley are sprinting to great seasons. There have been lots of accomplishments for runners on each team. Here is a deeper dive into what they have done over the course of the winter season. . .

The boys team just had their Delco indoor track championships and now had the meet of champions meet. The team of Farhan Riaz, Eric Albright, Ryan Long, and Tej Vyas finished 3rd in the 4×400 relay at the Delco Indoor Track Championships. Also, the team of Dom DiLuzio, Sean Garrett, John Colavito, and Aravind Arunachalam got 3rd place in the 4×800 relay at the same race. Then, at the Meet of Champions, the DMR team of Sean Garrett, Eric Albright, Tej Vyas, and Peter Zekonis decreased the school record by 13 second to earn a time of 10:32.58. These are just some of the accomplishments by this team and a sign of what is to come in the future.

The girls team has had as much success as this boys team this season. The 4×200 team of Beale, Archer, Roberts and Wert broke the school record at that event and took 2nd place at Lehigh. They were able to qualify for the state championships which will be at Penn State on March 1st. Then, Anna Saboja also set a school record at the 60 meter hurdles event. These two record breaking times at these events are just an example of high of a bar that this teams has set. Also, the future is bright for this team as all of the runners who were involved in those events are only sophomores and freshman.
