The powderpuff game was full of triumphs and sacrifice. The night began with a flurry of photographs with every angle being taken. Barksdale was wandering around taking snapshots of the action at the Moe. The seniors were decked out in garnet jerseys and the juniors wore white proudly.
The seniors had the upperhand in this game, scoring 2 touchdowns with Olivia Weir racing down the side. The juniors had just one touchdown with Morgan Mesaros racing down the side after dodging approaching seniors.
The game finished with high fives and more pictures before the lights went down at the Moe. The tradition continues with the seniors prevailing and the juniors learning a lesson or two from the veterans for next year’s game.
