Boy Scouts can be a fun, challenging, and very rewarding experience. In Boy Scouts, teens can learn skills that will help them later in life, such as communication, how to be a good citizen, and how to administer first aid. Scouts learn these skills through merit badges, where they learn about a subject, and complete requirements based on the reading. One of the most interesting things that the troop does is go on camping trips. On these camping trips, scouts apply their skills in pioneering, cooking, and hiking. Does this seem interesting to you? It is never too late to join! Contact the Scoutmaster of Troop 260 by email at gmurray87@msn.com or by phone at (610)476-0085 to join.
