Garnet Valley Field Hockey took down Penncrest (7-0) on Tuesday, October 15th, officially marking their 18th win and capping off an undefeated regular season, and confirming their position as 2019 Central League Champions. They are currently ranked #1 in District 1 3A and #14 in the Pennsylvania Region. GVFH’s success throughout the 2019 regular season is credited to their teamwork, which has been the main focus of the team since August. Garnet Valley Field Hockey has not won the Central league in over 20 years (1997), and they continued this success on October 23 beating CB West in the first game of districts with a shutout 2-0.
