The Garnet Valley boys and girls lacrosse teams are once again having really good seasons and are currently in States. The Girls team finished the season 15-2 and are currently in the quarterfinals of States. The boys finished the season at 16-3 and are currently in the quarterfinals of States as well. Here are some updates on both teams . . .
The GV Girls team has had a stellar season one again. They just finished the District I playoffs in 3rd place, beating Downingtown West 17-6 for the 3rd place championship. In their second round game, they had a hard fought win against Owen J. Roberts 18-11. This game was highlighted by Regan Nealon’s six goals. Their next game will be against Manheim Township in the state quarterfinals on Tuesday at 4:00 PM at Exeter.

The GV Boys Lacrosse team has had a great season so far. They are in the quarterfinals of States as well. They just came runner up in District I and are currently in the quarterfinals in States. They just won in a confidence boosting win against St. Joes Prep 9-5 in the second round. The highlight of this game was Mitch Lachman scoring four goals in not a very high scoring affair. They will be playing in their next game on Tuesday against La Salle at Avon Grove at 4:00 PM.
