Garnet Valley track had many people who qualified for states this year! The state-wide track meet was on February 24th, falling on a weekend. This track meet took place at the indoor track facility at Penn State University. After interviewing Grace Zamrowski, a sophomore runner at states, she informed Jaguar Journal of many feelings that she experienced leading up to the meet. “It was so nerve wracking, but having my teammates with me definitely calmed me down.” She later talked about how the nerves were actually a beneficial part of how well she competed at the PTFCA state meet. Grace also said, “Garnet Valley had little to no chance of even meddling and it was amazing how fast we ran considering we were ranked 8 and came in second.” Adrenaline also played a big part in how well and how fast the girls and guys from Garnet Valley Track ran. Overall, we are very proud of how well Garnet Valley Track performed! Go jags! Goodluck on outdoor track season!
