MOXIE is excited to announce the rise of a new, incredibly talented 18-year-old Omaha singer, JOCELYN, who recently released her debut song, “Speak Up”. The song, produced and co-written by Denny White, entails a vivid bullying experience that Jocelyn wanted to share with the world in an effort to highlight how she overcame this obstacle as well as to encourage other victims of bullying to be strong and stand up for themselves. JOCELYN was inspired by a variety of songwriters during the process of creating her first song, such as Shanw Mendes, Gabrielle Aplin, Ben Howard, and Ed Sheeran, utilizing powerful word choice and a catchy, guitar-based beat to captivate listeners. According to the singer, “‘Speak Up’ is about turning negativity into positive energy instead of letting the bullies drag you down. It’s about realizing that you are your own individual, so speak up and live by example.”

In addition to the release of her new song, JOCELYN also has won an array of awards, including Best Pop Artist and Artist of the Year at the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards.
