For the first time ever, Garnet Valley Performing Arts Association is putting on a community show right here at Garnet Valley High School! This year in June the GVHSPAA will be putting on the performance Mamma Mia. Mamma Mia is a very high energy and fun show with many characters of various ages. The Performing Arts Association is looking for everyone, ages fourteen and over, to audition in the surrounding area. High school students, teachers, parents, adults, and even senior citizens: if you are interested in joining, please join the Garnet Valley Performing Arts Alumni and Friends facebook group and follow the social media. Auditions have already passed; however, if you wish to help out in any way, you still can!

Rehearsals will start later in March, but there will be very few during the weekdays, and most beginning practices will be for specific parts. In May, normal practices/rehearsals will begin to pick up. The show will be put on in early summer, specifically the 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th of June. There is no prior experience needed either, so anyone who is interested can sign up for the show. Additionally, there are both leads and ensemble parts available for all ages. Feel free to contact play director Mrs. Arters at the Garnet Valley High School if you have any questions!
